Jeremy Wurm

As Founder of Brooker Consulting, Jeremy brings more than three decades of experience in executive search, human resources consulting, and leadership recruitment across Australia and internationally.

A scientist by training, Jeremy’s early career spanned the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries in Australia and Europe before transitioning into executive search in London in the late 1980s. His analytical approach, combined with deep sector insight, has positioned him as a trusted advisor to boards, CEOs and senior leaders in health, education, research and the not-for-profit sectors.

Since establishing Brooker Consulting in 1999, now part of the Lawson HR Group, Jeremy has led hundreds of senior-level appointments across Australasia. His commitment to evidence-based recruitment, integrity in client relationships, and the advancement of social purpose organisations has shaped Brooker’s reputation as a leader in executive search for mission-driven sectors.

Jeremy is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has held long-standing affiliations with professional bodies, including the Institute of Management Consultants, BioMelbourne Network, and the National Disability Services Association. He also served as a Director and Board Member of Vision Australia Foundation for a decade, reflecting his enduring commitment to community service and inclusion.
